Psalm 92:12 “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like the cedars of Lebanon.
The palm tree is one of the oldest monocotyledonous flowering plants in history. Their revolutionary adaptability across climates makes them unique and intriguing. They often symbolize “peace, paradise, fertility and victory.” In the Christian context, palms fronds were used to welcome Jesus in Jerusalem.
Cedar trees are “slow growing but long lived”, they develop a strong, resilient frame that can withstand harsh climate.
The commonality between the palm and cedar is that they both steady, rooted, enduring and deeply alive. The verse reminds us that true beauty and strength grow from deeper places.
Growth does not begin above ground. Before the cedar stretches toward the sky, it first anchors itself firmly below the surface. Its roots push deep into the soil, drinking nourishment unseen by the world.
So it is with us. Before visibility comes formation. Before flourishing comes grounding. Before beauty shows outwardly, strength is cultivated inwardly—through faith, surrender, resilience, and consistency.
Being Cedar Strong means allowing yourself to be deeply rooted in truth, even when growth feels slow. It means trusting that unseen seasons still matter.
In a world that often defines beauty by trends and surface appearances, Psalm 92:12 offers a different vision. Cedar strength is not delicate—it is durable. It doesn’t fade when conditions change. It remains graceful even under pressure.
This kind of beauty is refined through challenges, shaped by perseverance and revealed through grace.
It is the beauty of someone who has survived, healed, and continued to grow.
When you embody cedar strength, your beauty is no longer dependent on circumstances. It stands because it is supported by purpose.
Notice the verse does not say the righteous appear strong—it says they grow strong.
Growth is ongoing. Flourishing is layered. The cedar does not rush its maturity, yet nothing can stop its progress.
To flourish like a cedar is to embrace: patience over pressure, depth over display and alignment over approval.
You are not behind. You are becoming.
This truth lies at the heart of the Cedars of Joy Collection. It celebrates women who are soft and strong, beautiful and resilient, grounded and growing.
To be Cedar Strong is to stand tall without striving. It is to know that joy is not shallow—it is rooted. It is to walk confidently, knowing that every season contributes to your purpose.
You were not created to merely survive.
You were created to flourish. Let your joy rise again from within!!
